One of California Sports Surfaces’ leading brands, Rebound Ace, has seen its reputation grow even further this year after securing its return to the ATP World Tour in last month’s St. Petersburg Open.
The recently completed tournament in Russia was a huge success, with the Rebound Ace Portable court receiving rave reviews from players and tournament directors alike.
Following on from this recent success, CSS is delighted to announce that the newly approved Erste Bank Open 500 in Vienna has also chosen to utilise the Rebound Ace Portable system.
As a result of the tournament’s recent upgrade into the 500 category, which is the second highest in the ATP grading system, the city of Vienna can now lay claim to one of the biggest World Tour events in Europe.
Tournament director, Herwig Straka, spoke of the decision regarding the playing surface, “We will be using a Rebound Ace Surface, a surface that will not become too fast.”
The Erste Bank Open 500 has also seen a dramatic increase in the demand for tickets following the recent upgrade announcement and it will be great to see a packed out stadium as the world’s best strut their stuff on Rebound Ace approved technology.
The tournament will take place from the 17th-25th of October and we are looking forward to the spectacle that the event will produce in the coming weeks.
