The penultimate round of the 2015 Davis Cup is set to take place this weekend and while there are two mouth-watering semi-final ties, 16 other nations are vying to return to the World Group for the 2016 competition.
For each tie, the home nation is afforded the advantage of selecting the surface they wish the tie to be played on, with four of the eight World Group play-off ties choosing CSS brands.
Switzerland vs Netherlands and Poland vs Slovakia will utilise the revolutionary Rebound Ace Portable system, while India vs Czech Republic will be outdoors on Rebound Ace. The tie between Dominican Republic and Germany will also be played outdoors, with Plexipave the surface of choice.
It’s set to be an exciting weekend and CSS is proud to continue its association with the world’s largest annual international team competition in sport.
CSS is the world’s leading supplier of acrylic sports surfacing. In addition to Plexicushion, DecoTurf and Rebound Ace, CSS also manufactures Plexitrac®, a superior track surface system for full performance athletic facilities and has recently acquired Premier Court®, Guardian® Crack Repair and Premier Sports Coatings™ (formerly Latex-ite® Recreational Coatings) to add to its stable of elite surfacing systems.
